a different kind of experience
last friday, i had a "date" with my friend. we went to Fiesta Resort Casino at Angono, Rizal. it was my first time so my friend "toured" me around the place after having a buffet dinner. we started with the slot machine, which we both found futile. afterwards, we tried the roulette. it was fun because the other players (whom my friend knows) gave us shares of their winnings whenever they see that we don't have chips in front of us anymore. :) after that, we tried draw poker. there i felt that i had "beginner's luck" because the first hand that i got was a trio. after a few games, we went to the baccarat table. it was a simple lucky 9 so it wasn't hard to catch on the rules of the bets. when we felt that the other players were already getting too serious for our fun, we transferred to the pai gow table. we wanted to stay at that table but the dealer had to cut the games short because of the inventory so we transferred to my last game which was black jack (sorry, can't remember what the table was called). after 3-4 games, we called it quits. all in all, we lost around P500. my friend said that it was "normal" so i didn't feel too bad about it. good thing was we both enjoyed the experience. :)
