omg!
can you believe that it's the 10th anniversary of my high school class this year? =D later tonight, we'll be having a "semi-reunion" at eastwood, libis. out of the 49(?) members of the class, probably less than 15 would arrive. yeah, that's like only less than a third of the class population but i'm still looking forward to see them again. of course it's not like we didn't see each other within the 10-year duration, but it's been years already! i'm kind'a wondering what would happen later...probably some questions on how and what each is doing, then reminisce on the years we were together. ;) ooh..can't wait! :)
weird dreams and perfect scores
have you ever felt nervous when you wake up after having a dream? last night, i dreamt that i was with a friend. we were together the whole time...holding hands, strolling, and simply talking. i felt that my friend was happy to be with me, but i also felt nervous and somehow scared -- as if there was somebody spying on us and that person would like to take away that moment of happiness. if i think about it, i believe that that somebody did his/her job well...i felt uncomfortable the whole time instead of just enjoying the moment. i'm not sure what my dream was telling me. should i always watch my back whenever i'm with this friend of mine? or should i come to terms with the fact that there would always be the possibility of " danger"...that i should just enjoy every moment i spend with him/her? i'd rather do the latter, but lately i can't shake off that weird feeling. * sigh *anyway, i just want to share what i did last weekend. around 3-5am and 4-6pm saturday, i went to 2 different KTV bars with my old officemates and my sister and her daughters respectively. at the latter gig, i scored a perfect hundred for singing hiram. i was surprised since i wasn't able to sing the middle part of the song because of an incident (my niece accidentally knocked over the pizza that we ordered). so even though the screen displayed a perfect score, i wasn't convinced. ;p
can you sing this song?
an officemate of mine found these lyrics for the famous disney movie cinderella: ---------------------------------------- bibbidi-bobbidi-boosalagadoola mechicka boola bibbidi-bobbidi-boo put 'em together and what have you got bibbidi-bobbidi-boo salagadoola mechicka boola bibbidi-bobbidi-boo it'll do magic believe it or not bibbidi-bobbidi-boo salagadoola means mechicka booleroo but the thingmabob that does the job is bibbidi-bobbidi-boo salagadoola menchicka boola bibbidi-bobbidi-boo put 'em together and what have you got bibbidi-bobbidi-boo ---------------------------------------- cool, huh? =D makes all the stress that i feel go away. ;)
lost in translation
yes, i'm here in the office again. worked late "last night" and stayed till 6:00am earlier. before i went home, the company had a slight meeting and our CEO announced that we should go home, get rest and report for work by 3:00pm today. i did just that. went home, slept, then arrived at 3. (actually, i was able to login at 3:10. hehe.) anyway, here i am...dizzy from lack of sleep...not really knowing what to work on. so i decided it's time to go home. yes, i'm going home. right. now. (or at least after i post this.) =D
drunk
got this from one of my groups. found it cute, so i'm sharing it. ;) ----------------------- Bill wakes up at home with a huge hangover. He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins and a glass of water on the side table. He sits down and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. Bill looks around the room and sees that it is in a perfect order, spotless, clean. So's the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins and notices a note on the table "Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping. Love you." So he goes to the kitchen and sure enough there is a hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating. Bill asks, "Son, what happened last night?" His son says, "Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and delirious. Broke some furniture, puked in the hallway, and gave yourself a black eye when you stumbled into the door." Confused, Bill asks, "So, why is everything in order and so clean, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?" His son replies, "Oh that! Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off you said, "Lady leave me alone, I'm married'!"
weekend work
it is so cool! the whole company will be reporting for work this weekend. this weekend meaning both saturday and sunday. cool, huh? (yeah right!) just wanted to share this very unfortunate news. ;p

i just want to share these cool photos... ...our barkada during our gimik last week ...the balikbayans ...our choir (voice symphony) when we sang at a funeral last saturday ...baywalk lights at night
just not that...
i've been reading a book for the past week. it's called he's just not that into you. very interesting insights about "relationships". well, i knew about some of the issues discussed from first-hand experience (either mine or my friends') but most enlightened me more. here are the major topics: he's just not that into you if... - he's not asking you out - he's not calling you - he's not dating you - he's not having sex with you - he's having sex with someone else - he only wants to see you when he's drunk - he doesn't want to marry you - he's breaking up with you - he's disappeared on you - he's married (and other insane variations of being unavailable) - he's a selfish jerk, a bully, or a really big freak before i forget, thanks to my dearest friend aleth for the book. =D
